Meet Tara, Founder

I’m Ms Tara, the Founder and Lead Educator at Expect Success Education.

Expect Success Education was created to provide clear, beautifully human, and effective learning support for students and families—especially those seeking an alternative to rigid or overly complicated educational systems.

My work is to develop effective curriculum - including lessons for every skill a student must know. I also teach students directly, and work closely with families to help learners build confidence, master essential skills, and develop a lasting love of learning. Expect Success is always looking for tutors who can work locally with your family following the essential principles of success.

Education should be:

• Rooted in mastery, not excess

Our Teacher Lesson Manuals and tutoring services are grounded in international best practices, drawing inspiration from high-performing education systems including Finland, Germany, Singapore, Canada, and the United States. Teacher-tutors have freedom and creativity with my support.

Lessons are designed to support different ways of thinking and learning, and to work in real-life settings—not just traditional classrooms.

Curriculum & Lesson Manuals

Expect Success Education provides Mathematics and English Language Arts lesson manuals for Grades 1–12.

These manuals are:

• Easy to use by parents, educators, and learning communities

• Adaptable for homeschooling, micro-schools, outdoor learning, and travel

• Designed to support mastery, confidence, and independence

No specialized training or complex systems are required.

Tutoring & Personalized Support

Families can receive support in several ways:

• One-on-one tutoring with me, the Founder and Lead Educator

• Tutoring with trained Expect Success tutors, guided by the same curriculum and philosophy

• Blended support, combining lesson manuals with personalized instruction

Tutoring is available online and is tailored to each student’s needs, strengths, and pace of learning.
